About Me
I was born and raised in Michigan, just south of Ann Arbor. After graduating high school in 1994, I joined the U.S. Navy and served for 3 years aboard the Abraham Lincoln (CVN72). After my Honorable Discharge, I worked various jobs until deciding to return to school and pursue my degrees in literature. Since attaining my M.A. in English Lit, with a focus on the High Medieval Period, I began teaching literature and composition classes in Michigan. In August of 2019, I moved to St. Charles, MO to take a position at SCC where I currently teach composition and developmental writing.
